Welcome to Alpine Community Theater (ACT)
“Where everyone can get into the ACT!”
Alpine Community Theater (ACT) is a 100% volunteer organization “Where everyone can get into the ACT!” As a non-profit community theater we rely on your support to help us fund productions and provide the volunteer support base we need.

Mission Statement: To provide an opportunity for the entire community to come together and be involved in Musical Theater in order to showcase talents, provide learning experiences and offer exceptional and uplifting family entertainment.

We’re so excited to present our 2025 musical production of A Christmas Carol. This is our 22nd year of producing exceptional family entertainment for the community, and we’re thrilled to have you with us!
Directors Note: We’ve been having such a Jolly Good Time rehearsing for A Christmas Carol- the musical, a timeless tale by Charles Dickens, so poignantly told through Alan Menken’s (Seussical, The Little Mermaid) beautifully written musical score. This classic tale reminds us of the importance of friendship, family, forgiveness, and sharing our Abundance & Charity with those in need. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside so many extraordinarily talented cast members, designers, production staff members and parent volunteers who have toiled, labored and sacrificed hours of time to help bring this beautiful story to life on stage. I wish to thank them Yesterday, Tomorrow and Today for all their support and love. This holiday season, we are excited to spend Christmas Together with all of you too! Thanks for showing your support with your attendance today! From all of us at ACT, we wish you a very Happy Christmas, and “may God bless us everyone!”

Chuck Graves-Scrooge
Chuck is a late bloomer who started musical theater in 2018 as Scrooge in this musical. He’s reprised that role for 8 years now – one of his favorites. Other credits include Aida (Pharoah), Scarlet Pimpernel (St. Cyr), Jekyll & Hyde (Lord General Glossop), 7 Brides for 7 Brothers (Mr. Sanders), Rapunzel (Socrates, the Dragon) and Oliver (Mr. Brownlow). Chuck and his wife, Lori, are retired. They enjoy playing pickleball with friends, traveling (in their RV or via plane) , and keeping in touch with their children and grandchildren. Many thanks to Laura, Michelle and Rebecca for giving him another incredible opportunity to work with a such a talented cast and receiving so much support from all the unseen ACT heroes who make this such an amazing show. Finally, he wishes to thank his wonderful wife, Lori, for all her support and encouragement.

Brett Weber- Bob Cratchit
Brett is a newcomer to the stage and is thrilled to play the part of Bob Cratchit. He was roped into auditioning by his daughter Grace and has found a new appreciation and love for theater. He is grateful to do this show alongside his daughter.

Charlie Holloman- Tiny Tim
Charlie Holloman is excited to make his stage debut as Tiny Tim and to perform alongside his family. He loves music, playing pretend, building LEGO creations, and spending time outdoors. Charlie is grateful for this magical experience and hopes his performance brings joy and warmth to the audience tonight.

Alyssa Call- Ghost of Christmas Past
Alyssa Call recently graduated from BYU with a degree in Theater Arts Studies. Some of her recent credits include Hildegard of Bingen in BYU’s devised piece City of Women: Book of Miracles, co-director for Hattie’s Echo!, and playwright of Sincerely, Silas Deane. She is delighted to be performing alongside her family this Christmas season.

Christopher Fosse- Ghost of Christmas Present and Mr. Fezziwig
Christopher got his start in children’s theater and went on to headline in such shows as ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Into the Woods’ before briefly presiding over his school’s Improvisational Comedy Troupe in High School. Then he took a little break from acting… for about 25 years. But he’s back, and he’s brought his whole family with him! He was Pharaoh Seti in ‘Prince of Egypt’ during the summer, and now in ‘Christmas Carol’ he gets to live his dream of playing two major characters separated by a single 45-second costume change. Here’s hoping he doesn’t mix them up!

Netalia Grover- Ghost of Christmas Future
When the curtain falls, Netalia trades shadows for sunlight: traveling the world, taking jeep trips to Moab, and spending time with her amazing family. She is currently studying to become a pilot, and is also an elementary school science teacher for Ensign Acadamy.

Kelli Brown-Ghost of Christmas Future/Mrs. Fezziwig
Kelli Brown is thrilled to return to the stage after a 13-year hiatus, marking her first performance with Alpine Community Theater. She will be portraying Mrs. Fezziwig and the Ghost of Christmas Future. Reconnecting with theater through these unique roles has been a wonderful opportunity, and she’s grateful for the chance to perform alongside such a talented cast and community.

Jeff Snyder-Jacob Marley
Jeff is happy to be playing Marley again with some great friends from previous shows and some brand new friends from this year. What a great cast! Good fun to be working under the direction of his amazing wife (still don’t know how she does it!). Jeff has had leading roles in countless productions and has played characters from Lancelot to Brigham Young, and Marcellus to Javert, but his favorite role of all is as ‘Laura’s husband’ and always will be. Happy Christmas!

Stacy Russon- Mrs. Cratchit
Stacy is excited to be back with Alpine Community Theatre and to have two children in the production. The performing arts have played a significant role throughout her life. Stacy is an advocate for the arts, family history, historical reenactment, agriculture, nature and loves being with her family.

Ashley Fosse- Mrs. Mops
Ashley is an art educator at Karl G. Maeser Preparatory Academy and mother of two beautiful daughters: Persephone and Mercury. She has participated in several theater productions such as King and I, Anne of Green Gables, Camelot, Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, Miracle of 31st Street, Little Mermaid, and Prince of Egypt, but this is her first time performing where her entire family gets to be named characters!

Ladd Wadsworth- Fred
Eleven has long been Ladd’s Lucky number, so it makes sense that it would take him that many years to return to ACT’s “A Christmas Carol”. Ladd was a cast member along with his future wife Mariah in the show in 2014; the first year that ACT did it. He intended to do more plays, but after he and Mariah married and started a family, hobbies took a back seat. He is excited to finally be able to fit musical theater in again this year, and bring a couple of his kids, Lucy and Ephraim, along for the ride with Mariah and the other four kids holding down the fort at home. When he’s not on stage, Ladd works as a superintendent for a local commercial construction contractor. He enjoys watching sports, movies, and classic TV shows, spending time with family, riding motorcycles, and disc golf. Here’s to hoping you enjoy the show, and that you and yours have a Happy and Blessed Christmas. Let us love ‘til we die, and God bless us Everyone!

Dylan Seeley- Sally
Dylan Seeley is excited to play Sally in A Christmas Carol! A full-time K–6 theatre teacher, she’s loved past roles such as Mrs. Martini (It’s a Wonderful Life) and Katherine (Newsies). Huge thanks to her family, students, and this festive cast for keeping her inspired

Lizzy Shelley- Emily
Lizzy is 17 years old and is in her 9th year of theater. She has found joy and community in theater and performing. She has loved learning about this show and the true spirit of Christmas. Some of Lizzy’s favorite roles have been Kathy Selden in Singin’ in the Rain and Ariel in The Little Mermaid. She can’t wait to see where the next few years of her life take her.

Hyrum Cowley-Young Scrooge
Hyrum is a dedicated theater lover who has performed in productions like The Music Man and Pride and Prejudice. He also enjoys reading, country swing dancing, and staying active through boxing and rock climbing.

Alex Curtis-Young Marley
Alex has been acting for seven years, both onstage and in competition. In that time, he has also directed several productions, worked in set design, marketing, lighting and sound. He is an aspiring nurse, and he loves his family and friends.

Tyler Call- Mr. Smythe and Scrooge’s Father
Tyler is currently wrapping up his degree in Computer Science, with plans to go into a career in embedded systems. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two cats, and has a passion for indie game development. This is Tyler’s first musical, and he is thrilled to be performing alongside his wife, Taylor.

Celia Johnson- Grace
Celia Johnson loves all things creative—art, music, performing, and cooking/baking. She served as Stage Crew Manager in both fifth and sixth grade and has enjoyed stepping into the spotlight this year with roles in A Christmas Carol and her middle school play. She’s thrilled to be part of this production!

Persephone Fosse- Grace
Thoroughly bitten by the acting bug at a young age, Peep has performed in several productions, including: Little Mermaid, Sister Act, Macbeth, Newsies, and Prince of Egypt – and is a dedicated Mock Trial participant. She is especially excited to be in a play with her parents and little sister. When she isn’t practicing her lines, Peep enjoys taking time to cuddle with her two sphinx cats, Jackal and Ghost.

Mara Holloman- Mrs.Scrooge
Mara Holloman is thrilled to appear as Scrooge’s Mom and a Rich Woman, performing alongside her husband and kids. She enjoys music, spending time outdoors, learning new things, and going on adventures with her family. Mara is grateful for this opportunity and hopes to bring joy to the audience.

Celia Johnson- Fan
Celia Johnson loves all things creative—art, music, performing, and cooking/baking. She served as Stage Crew Manager in both fifth and sixth grade and has enjoyed stepping into the spotlight this year with roles in A Christmas Carol and her middle school play. She’s thrilled to be part of this production!

Mercury Fosse- Fan
Mercury has been in ensemble and nativity roles since she was an infant! This, however, is her first named character and solo. She’s excited to play Fan (Scrooge’s sister… age nine). She’s maybe more excited to have her picture and bio in the play bill.

Pearce Masters- Scrooge at 12
Pearce Masters is thrilled to make his community theatre debut as Scrooge at 12. When he’s not onstage, he’s playing baseball, singing (including MCO and with LDS General Conference Children’s Chorus!), or remembering his glory days as a seagull in Finding Nemo
. He’s happy to spread some holiday cheer!

Ryker Masters- Jonathon
Ryker Masters is pleased to make his theatrical and solo debut as Jonathan. When he’s not buried in a book, inventing fun new games, or skiing–
he’s busy kicking Scrooge for being a humbug. All in good Christmas spirit, of course! He’s hoping the weather cooperates so he can ski instead!
